Agni College of Technology (ACT) (formerly Vels Srinivasa College of Engineering and Technology - VSCET) was established in year 2001 by Sri Balaji Charitable and Educational Trust with the objective of producing high quality engineers and technocrats.
Vels Srinivasa College of Engineering and Technology will henceforth be known as “Agni College of Technology” (ACT). VSCET is a 10 year old engineering institution acclaimed for its quality education and infrastructure. Only the college name has been changed, the management remains the same.
We have changed from VSCET to ACT only to bring in the institution into our Agni Family fold and to be identified with the 2 decade old Agni group of companies which has a diverse portfolio of Construction, Advertising, Importing, Logistics, Sports and more. The group is managed by professionals hailing from various fields. The name has now changed, but the values and visions remain the same. Be guaranteed of our quality education that has been availed of and enjoyed by the students will only get better in the forthcoming years.
